RTPM Check
What is an RTPM Check?
An RTPM Check is a pharmacist-led screen of participating state and territory Real-Time Prescription Monitoring registers. Our AHPRA-registered pharmacists confirm whether scheduled high-risk medicines have been prescribed or dispensed to a claimant in the last 90 days, identify how many prescribers are involved, and flag whether the prescribing pattern is being actively managed or appropriately controlled.
Use it for early claim visibility to ensure high-risk medicines aren't slipping under the radar, driving delayed recovery, or escalating liability before anyone in the claim has line of sight on them.
Reasons to Refer
- Early claim baseline before treatment approvals stack up
- Suspected doctor shopping or multiple prescriber involvement
- Unexplained sedation, drowsiness, or stalled return to work
- High-risk medicines suspected but not disclosed
- Claimant medication history doesn't match the clinical picture
- Before approving Schedule 8 medicines or medicinal cannabis
- Red flags on a Certificate of Capacity or treating GP report
- Pre-IME preparation to inform the examiner's questions
- Unrelated prescribing that may be affecting recovery
- Support for treatment funding or decline decisions
- Confirmation that high-risk prescribing is being actively managed
- Polypharmacy concerns where prescribing history is unclear

Our 12-week Management Program is not optional if you're considering cannabis fundingβit's essential.
Key program elements:
- Treatment efficacy and safety monitoring
